    Read this thinking there was some new kind of material, but came away with the strong but not quite certain sense that they were only talking about the under publicized properties of the "high temperature" (LN2-ish) superconductor materials discovered almost 40 years ago.

    Apparent lack of quantization of the charge carrier IS intriguing, though. Linear rather than quadratic resistivity vs temperature is definitely something to pick at. Fun question: if you extrapolate that line back below the change to superconductivity, where does it intercept at absolute zero?
