What if, and this might be controversial, we went back to the days where we used technology to make life better?

I swear to fucking god if everyone adopts this I will drive or stop traveling entirely. Hey good idea for environmentalists seeking to curb air travel. Just push a bullshit abusive tech that no sane person would tolerate and a significant portion of people simply nope out forever.

Isn't that the point of it? To allow Delta to fill in the demand curve for a flight more exactly? If they have only 3 or 4 prices (first class, business, economy, maybe a firesale price 24 hours before the flight) they're leaving money on the table. At least some customers are paying less than the demand curve would permit, geometrically.

Of course I'm assuming the AI actually knows the demand curve, and can accurately assess specific customers' utility function.

You talk about this well enough that, in this bright future, your groceries should probably cost 10% or more higher than the average. It sounds like you can afford it.

            Technology is incredible.
